About the Webinar:

This live session is set to be the most visually engaging as we work with the formidable Dr. Sharon Belmo, Harley Street Dermatologist, Black Skin Expert and force behind the Centre of Evidenced Based Dermatology's Skin of Colour Resource, to look at how common skin conditions, like Eczema and Keloid Scarring, present in skin of colour in comparison to lighter skin tones and when is best to refer to a dermatologist or other medical professionals.

About CEBD:

The Centre for Evidence Based Dermatology is a large research group at the University of Nottingham. They focus on independent clinical research for the treatment and prevention of skin conditions. This includes more common skin problems such as acne, eczema, vitiligo and cellulitis and rarer skin diseases including blistering skin disorders and vulval conditions.

CEBD also develop useful information, resources and tools for healthcare professionals and patients. This includes things such as the My Eczema Tracker App which allows patients to track their eczema and the Skin of Colour Resource that brings together resources, systemic reviews and review articles based on topics relevant to skin of colour.
